Massachusetts Growers Suing Cannabis Control Commission

They hope to even the playing field against bribes and corruption

A group of Massachusetts marijuana growers have sued the Cannabis Control Commission.

As of now, host communities can set standards for the people who run marijuana growing facilities.

Back in August, the CCC denied the growers proposal to review the agreement worked out between host communities and marijuana growing facilities.

In response, growers have filed a lawsuit to force the CCC to review the requirements for growers and host communities.

An organization that represents the Massachusetts marijuana growers is calling on the CCC to enforce these requirements which include 3 percent of gross sales going to the town.
